On Saturday, August 16, 2014, a joint funeral was held for the six-year-old girl, Addison Hall, and the baby her mother was pregnant with, who tragically passed away after a car crash at a Costco in London, Ontario. Addison passed away in the hospital after a car reversed into the front entrance of Costco also hitting Addison’s three-year-old sister and pregnant mother on July 25, 2014. The infant sadly died after having to be delivered by an emergency C-section. The mother, Danah Mckinnon-Bozek, and other daughter Miah, 3, are currently recovering. The family decided to donate Addison’s organs, and four children have since received her organs. The driver of the car, Ruth Burger, 65, from London, Ontario is facing two counts of criminal negligence causing bodily harm and one count of criminal negligence causing death, and is also scheduled to appear in court on September 16. Two other people also suffered minor injuries as a result of this misfortunate crash, in addition to the driver.
